Fall Makeup Trend | Blush

80% of filipinas doesn’t really care that much when it comes to “weather makeup”. To tell you the truth I’m one of those people who just don’t care. If it looks good on me, I’ll wear it. It’s just a plus when it’s also on trend.

Mac Sheertone Blush in Breath of Plum

Mac describes it as a light plum. Retails for aproximately Php1,600

It is a matte blush. The textureis smooth but a little bit hard to blend. This shade would look great on fair to medium skin tones. I have quite an oily skin and this product stays on my cheeks for about 3-4 hours. It doesn’t get patchy and just fades throughout the day.

Overall, I think it’s a good all-rounder blush. And cheapest among other high-end brands.

  Nars Blush in Mata Hari

Nars describes it as pink with a race of crimson. Has 4ml worth of product. Retails for Php 2,490

It’s a matte blush. Very buttery texture and blends easily to the skin. It has intense pigmentation, so a little goes a long way. This blush lasts on my skin for about 6-8 hours.

Overall, this product is a great invesment. It will most definitely last long than your normal blush. And also a great all-rounder.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel in 537 Bronze Corail

When you look at this product you wouldn’t think it would be a fall appropriate blush, but as you can see when you blend all the 4 shades together it’s perfect for fall. You can also use the diff shades seperately as eyeshadow. And the 2nd shade is a nice highlight.

It has 14g worth of product and retails for P2,750 at Rustans.

🔸4 different shades that you can mix & match.

🔸Sleek and sturdy packaging. (what do you expect? It’s chanel.)

🔸Comes with a soft and reasonable size brush.

🔸A tad bit glittery. I have open pores and it sits on them if I don’t use a pore minimizing primer.

🔸Not worth the money. There’s nothing that special for you to splurge on such product.

Max Factor blush in Mulberry

Claims to be a long lasting, ultra-natural blusher. Has 5.5g worth of product. Retails for Php 688.00

It’s described as a natural earthy peach shade. Would look best with light-medium skin tones; I am a NW25/NC30 and this looks stunning on me. It has the perfect amount of sheen for a healthy looking skin.

The downside with this product is thatit has a really cheap and flimsy packaging. The brush that comes with it is so hard that it scratches my face and the texture is a tad bit powdery; my tip is instead of swiping your brush, just pat it on the product.

Nevertheless, this blush is one of my holy grail products of all time. It just looks so darn good on most skin tones and it’s so affordable.
Love, K ❤️💋
